The SAC research programmes aims to help the development of the land-based industries, support the sustainability of rural communities, and inform policy makers in the rural sector, both nationally and internationally. Organisation The R&D division has a complement of 230 staff, including more than 100 research scientists.The SAC R&D programme has four research areas: Learning SAC offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes from its three campuses in Aberdeen , Ayr and Edinburgh , as well as training and on-line study opportunities.
